Takela Group

Although still a young company, Takela-Group Development and Construction (Pty) Ltd (Takela) has already earned a reputation for service, reliability and excellence in construction since it was founded in 2014. Takela was initially established with the aim of promoting State National Housing Development, and our team has already completed various projects throughout South Africa, generating accolades from customers and industry partners alike.

The company is fully registered with CIDB, and has a Level 1 BEE rating. We have also been registered with the NHBRC since its inception and Takela remains in good standing.

Although our head office is located in Midrand Johannesburg, we have over the past two years established firm ground, mainly in the Eastern Cape Regions. We have an office located in East London, as well as various site offices that are set up at each of our project locations, even in the remotest parts of the region.

Objectives

Takela’s first project was awarded in March 2014, to the value of 90 million Rand for RDP housing located in Maclear Region, Eastern Cape- a project owned by the Eastern Cape Department of Human Settlements (ECDHS). The geographical location of this project was extremely remote and difficult to access, however our team overcame all challenges, excelled in the execution of this project and completed it well within the allocated construction period.
